I installed BZ2 again! just a stock install to play the 1 player game through for nostalgic reasons.
I wouldnt have a clue what to install after stock nowadays to be able tyo play online....i have completely forgotten!
Are you still playing bz2?

Networking!! meh! i hate it! Makes me glad that i have recently stepped out of technical alltogether!
I have armed assault, could never get into it like i did flashpoint.
Its gathering dust with a hell of a lot of games!
im no longer enjoying wow again!
Gothic series is back on the cards, Gothic 3 especially. The series has got to be in my top 5 games ever!

How are you all? Im ok....I have been playing a bit of BF2 again to pass time. I seem to have alot more time nowadays. World of warcraft is back in my life. lol I am actually enjoying it this time.
I brought myself a new toy in November. A Mercedes CLK 320 2001 with all the toys and trimmings. Man i love this car. It has AMG styling also.

Guys, would any of you care for a spring summer meet this year with a bit of a differance?
My closest friends have there own paintball business in Stoke.
I would like to invite you guys down sometime this spring summer for an action packed day.
They have splashed out on a new venture at my friends paintball site called "battlestorm". It is basically the most realistic laser combat simulation in the UK. Used by the army to train soldiers and all guns are full replicas.
One of my friends who owns the site is {uscm}Smokedog, in fact he designs all the fliers and he designed, built and admininisters the websites
which can be seen here
There are a few of the old uscm guys that play it regular like, Myself, Jyden, Zerstorer, Lava, Rioss, Darkfox and Ivan (me also)

Im sure you have all played paintball? yup its great fun, a great high adrenaline blast. But even better when you are playing with old gaming pals.

I can get us good discount for us aswell.
So my suggestion, One day this spring/summer all meet up to play both paintball and battlestorm at there site with some of the old uscm guys.
Now its upto you if you want to stay over for the night, so after we finish playing we can go for a meal and a few drinks. I cant offer accomodation though as i only live in a terraced house, but there is a camp site only 2 miles from the paintball site or there is plenty of Bed and breakfasts or cheap hotels.
Obviously this is going to be tough for you german ruddies, but if you are interested i can help you organise stuff.
Anyway, let me know if your interested... and if we do have a reasonable response then we can start discussing dates.
p.s it would be great to meet you guys in person! oh and if any of you have kids over the age of 8, they can play battlestorm too, but you do have to be over 18 for paintball

I got the demo, off a steam download. It seems to be an amazing game and just what i was after, however....my pc has got ssome major issues at the moment and it wont run well on even the lowest settings.
If you are into your realistic racers then this one is for you. Definately.
however if you are more of a arcade racer fan then this can stil be for you!! The amount of realism settings that you can adjust is unbelievable......very much like the official F1 games.
The experiance was ruined for me though as my pc has issues.
1 second i am preparing for that hairpin and next second i have lost both of my front wheels!!!
As soon as i sort my pc/buy another then this will be my first buy

oh yeah its great fun, and the absoulte ultimate for a adrenaline junkie.
When a race is finished you come off with a great feeling and have "motor mouth" syndrome due to the adrenaline still pumping! Better than sex!
My brother in law's have done it for a few seasons now, they asked me to race there cars(they have loads) to get the numbers up as its a dying formula....or at least it was.
As you can prob tell by the cars, its not normal banger racing. The cars are packed out with steel and you are allowed to modify anything or have what ever engine size you want.
My car, a sierra has a XR4i 2.8 engine with racing cam etc etc.
SuperBangers is more of a "rough touring cars" formula as you will use you car for every meet rather than just the one meet like the normal bangers do, hence the nice paint jobs
A good car normally costs about £1000 to buy ready to go, then there is costs of parts(normally tyres) throughout the season. A season license costs £65. Season starts in march until october, 1 meeting per month and 3 races per meeting.
